Grandma's Homemade Cookies

The fact that I love dressing like a hip grandma really helps me out for two main reasons. Old people die and eventually all of their old clothes have to be handed down somewhere; I have both my grandma's left who LOVE to give away their clothes, to me. ( I was slightly kidding about the dying old people comment, slightly) Not only can I dedicate an entire section of my closet to Grandma style, but I look good dressing like a classy lady! My personal style advice for the day: "More is better than less." Do not be afraid to dress conservatively, but still look great doing it! Plus, when you get a bunch of compliments and head nods from guys you know it is not because your cute little boootie is hanging all over the place! Here is what I wore today, sorry for the god-awful quality, I swear I am working on a new camera situation!

(My room is so messy! I am in the process of moving, eeep. New apartment this weekend!)
Pleated skirt: Retrospect Thrift
Tights: Local CVS
Boots: Retrospect Thrift
Blouse: Buffulo Exchange
Vest: Hand me Down

If you haven't already noticed, I have a slight obsession with Retrospect which is located right on South Street in Philadelphia, P.A. Although it may be slightly pricier than other thrift stores near it, it is the perfect place to find incredible vintage treasures! Plus, if you are into silly over sized sweaters like I am, they have one that will fit any style. Did i mention the entire store is color coordinated, which makes my shopping experience and life a thousand times better. If you are in the philly area, you must not miss out on Retrospect!
